The Veneto Region, Lead Partner of Su.Pa. project, organised a meeting with the Representatives of the Plasepri Programme in Venice to discuss the possibilities of a sinergy between Su.Pa. and Plasepri in the view of developing the private sector in Senegal and to create chances for investment by the Senegales migrants.
The Plasepri platform is co-funded by the Italian Ministry of Foreing Affairs and the Senegalese government and it foresees a 20 million Euros budget for a period of 3 years. The Plasepri budget will be used for entrepreneurial projects selected after a call for proposals. The Guarantee Fund, that will be soon created by the Veneto Region, can offer the guarantees to loans for projects approved under the Su.Pa. framework.
The call for proposal will be published on January 2010 and the Agreement between Plasepri and the Veneto Region is expected to be signed early 2010.
